Celebrating a Ruby Wedding is no mean feat. It takes forty years of love to get there and Derrick and Daphne D’Cruz from Leytonstone did just that – so much so that their love extended to include the cause of assisting poor children.
Wanting to do something to help, they celebrated their Ruby weddinganniversary with their family & friends and invited them to makea donation to H A P C Charity.
The occasion turned out to be a great success with generous guests, whotogether, raised the sum of £760 for children in need.
Derrick & Daphne presented a cheque that day to Alison Wainwright,Asst. Social Secretary of H A P C (UK), (see photograph) and made aformal presentation to our Chairman on the day of the AGM.
With such wonderful support from people like Derrick & Daphne who give their time & effort so willingly, simply encourages the committee and stimulates us to work harder.
H A P C would like to thank Daphne & Derrick for their substantial contribution and look forward to being associated with them as members of the Charity.
Daphne & Derrick became our 1060 and 1061st members.
